Purpose of the Role
Provide legal support to Treasury and Finance on banking and financial transactions;
Draft, review, and negotiate credit documentation, including bilateral and syndicated loans, LMA-based documents, revolving credit facilities, and term loans;
Advise on refinancing, cash pooling, intercompany loans, and cross‑border financing structures;
Support bank relationship management, including negotiating bank fees, facility renewals, and covenants;
Monitor regulatory requirements and provide guidance on PSD2, AML/KYC, sanctions, collateral rules, and other relevant legislation;
Identify and mitigate risks related to covenant compliance, default scenarios, margin calls, and cross‑default clauses;
Support the review of derivative documentation (ISDA/CSA) used for hedging purposes;
Advise internal stakeholders and provide training on banking law and financing documentation;
Collaborate with external law firms to ensure efficient execution of financing transactions.
Your Background
You hold a Master’s degree in Law;
You have 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in banking & finance law;
You have strong knowledge of LMA documentation, syndicated loans, and security structures;
You are familiar with banking regulations and compliance frameworks such as AML/KYC, sanctions, and collateral rules;
You possess strong analytical skills and precise drafting capabilities;
You are pragmatic, commercially minded, and hands‑on;
You can work independently but are also a true team player;
You can communicate complex legal matters clearly to business stakeholders;
You are fluent in English.
