Key Responsibilities & Opportunities
We will mainly ask you to:
7. Take part in the restaurants service during day and evening shifts
8. Guide our customers by explaining them our meals and restaurants philosophy
9. Be open to growth and development within the team
10. Manage phone calls and chat messages to support potential customers in reaching us
11. Ensure smooth daily operations by collaborating with your supervisor and the kitchen team
12. Keep the dining room clean and tidy, to offer a cozy and welcoming environment
13. Lead and/or conduct free food sampling, to engage and attract restaurant clients
14. Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations, keeping the dining room safe and compliant
15. Occasionally deliver our proprietary plant-based meat to our client restaurants in Antwerp
If desired, you will have the opportunity to:
16. Propose and organize initiatives for themed events in the restaurant
17. Propose and test new ideas that enhance the dining room's workflow and service quality
18. Contribute to content creation for our online presence in ideation, definition and execution
19. Contribute to menu development by bringing creative, actionable drinks or recipe ideas to life
Your Expertise
20. At least 6 months of experience as Waiter, Barista or in a similar role
21. You are eligible to legally work in Antwerp
22. You have sharp attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind
23. You have the enthusiasm to thrive in a startup setting, where flexibility and adaptability are key
24. You have a collaborative mindset and are willing to work as a part of a team
25. You have the ability to balance hard work with a sense of fun, knowing when to push and to enjoy the moment
26. You are genuinely interested in exploring and evolving within the role
27. Fluent English is required, and Dutch is a nice-to-have
