Operations Site Manager (Manufacturing)
Focus is primarily on Production Managers with strong on-site exposure and a proven track record in operational manufacturing environments.
Location: ONSITE - East Flanders, Belgium
This role is open only to candidates currently based in Ghent or available to relocate immediately. No relocation package is offered.
Reports to: Operations Director EUROPE
Salary range: 78,000 - 98,000 euros per year
On top of the base salary company car + corporate local benefits
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Operations Site Manager to lead and stabilize a mid- sized complex finished product site based in East Flanders Region. Overseeing 4 key areas: Maintenance, Customer Service, Administration, and Production & Warehouse (team of approx. 15 people).
The role is hands-on and requires someone able to structure operations, drive performance, and ensure daily excellence in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
We seek a leadership-driven, process-oriented manager who knows how to build discipline on the shop floor and develop and bring together teams.
High autonomy, ownership, and the ability to bring structure where needed are essential. This role is ideal for someone who wants to shape operations, elevate the site, and grow within a European organization. Succession planning in place.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Full responsibility for site performance and operational KPIs.
-Act with high autonomy and strong ownership of the plant.
-Coach and support leadership capability
-Ensure daily performance: safety, quality, deliver, productivity, cost.
-Drive continuous improvement and optimize production performance.
-Implement standards, KPIs, and clear processes .
-Contribute to the harmonization of tools and processes across the European division
-Work closely with the sister plant site (Europe located) to share best practices and create alignment.
REQUIREMENTS
Must-have
-Experience in a manufacturing environment with production flow (machines, sensors, process control).
-Engineering background.
-High potential and growth ambition
-Leadership experience in Operations / Production
-Strong coaching and people development skills.
-Fluent Dutch + English.
-Fully onsite
-Limited travel
