As an Engineer Lead in our SaaS environment, you will play a critical role in building, delivering, and improving high-quality software solutions from concept to production. You’ll lead our MSP and Optimisation team, with a sharp focus on solving real-world inefficiencies and eliminating recurring friction points, often referred to as paper cuts. You’ll also directly mentor a junior engineer, combining technical depth with human leadership to drive tangible impact.
This will be your challenge:
* Lead the MSP and Optimisation team in designing and delivering web applications using Angular and .NET Core.
* Identify, prioritise, and resolve frequent pain points across the platform, improving daily user experience through incremental but high-leverage improvements.
* Translate end-user needs into robust, scalable solutions with maintainability and performance in mind.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define, design, and deploy impactful features and fixes.
* Own the technical quality of the team’s output, ensuring responsiveness, reliability, and clean architecture across the stack.
* Write clean, testable code and support engineering standards that enable long-term efficiency.
* Guide and mentor a junior engineer, fostering their technical growth and contribution to the team.
* Stay current with evolving technologies and best practices, proactively suggesting and implementing improvements in tools, processes, and systems.
