We're working with an up and coming healthcare AI that is based in Antwerp seeking an experienced Data Architect to build high-performing data architecture solutions. You will play a key role in shaping their enterprise data strategy, enabling analytics, AI initiatives, and business intelligence across the organization.
Responsibilities
Design and maintain enterprise-wide data architecture and data models
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
Architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift)
Implement cloud-based data solutions on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Ensure data governance, data quality, metadata management, and regulatory compliance
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of data platforms
Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business stakeholders
Provide technical leadership and mentoring
Your Profile
5+ years’ experience in data architecture or senior data engineering
Strong expertise in SQL and database design (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle Database)
Experience with big data frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Hadoop
Hands-on experience with data modeling tools and methodologies
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance
Knowledge of Python, Java, or similar programming languages
Experience implementing modern data architectures (Data Mesh / Data Fabric)
TOGAF or cloud architecture certification
Experience in (Industry: Finance / Healthcare / Retail / etc.)
