The Methods Engineering & Equipment and Technology Development group develops transport and installation methods for the different DEME Offshore activities safeguarding technical feasibility, operational efficiency and workability. Additionally, the team develops the required equipment for the projects focused on safe and efficient operations, ensuring high workability and accelerating the pace of innovation. These Developments are coordinated in close cooperation with the commercial and operational departments to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
As a Methods & Mission Equipment Engineer at DEME Offshore, you are involved with the engineering of new transport and installation methods and the development of corresponding mission equipment. You will provide engineering support during project execution and follow-up on performance and any modifications or improvements to existing equipment.
The role involves organizing incoming and outgoing documentation on Tenders, being point of contact for the Tender Team regarding document management, and organizing check-in meetings with the Team.
The Tender Document controller also monitors and manages the Deliverables during the Tender process, flagging bottlenecks or delays to the Tender Manager, and manages some Deliverables'' content in agreement with the TM.
Additionally, they review and finalize the outgoing documents for proper layout and design according to branding guidelines.
