Are you a talented and enthusiastic BIM Coordinator?
PM Group have a role for a BIM Coordinator to support our onsite project.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.
Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, you will be involved in the following activities:
1. Coordination of services using the full Autodesk Suite.
2. Being responsible for the overall BIM coordination of assigned project(s) with a requirement to create 3D models using BIM authoring tools.
3. the coordination and monitoring of 3D model production during the corresponding project stages.
4. Clash management on all systems (clash detection, report, monitor, etc.)
5. Being responsible for delivering models accordingly to the schedule defined for the project.
6. Coordination of work information workflows.
7. Coaching and mentoring of BIM Technicians - monitoring workload and tasks.
8. Setting up the BIM project environment.
9. Creating, developing, maintaining and reviewing of BIM Documents (such as BIM Execution Plans, etc.) and protocols.
10. The BIM Coordinator will report to the BIM Manager of PM’s Belgium BIM Department and the BIM Lead of the assigned project(s).
Production
11. Manage, control and assure on-time delivery of drawings and models.Development of Discipline Models and reports in line with company and client requirements.Assist and manage the transition of historic files from 2D to 3D models.Assist in the migration of files to BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud Design/Documents.Assistance in the overall development of the BIM protocols and systems. This includes marketing BIM capability as necessary to external clients/consultants. Championing the benefits of BIM internally to existing employees.
Quality assurance
12. Comply with both in-house and client Design Procedures.
13. Perform with respect to all client security protocols.
14. Audit of submitted files from the own team and/or other vendors/owners.
15. Ensure compliance and adherence to Company EHS, QA/QC policies and systems.
Communication
16. Lead or actively contribute to BIM Coordination Meetings between project stakeholders when needed.
17. Liaise with client representatives, project manager, site supervisors, the design team and/or own team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables.
Others
18. Assist with the internal training of all employees.
19. Conducting and supporting onboarding for project participants regarding BIM.
20. Assist in the implementation of 3D tools and the introduction of new technologies.
21. Ensure continual improvement of an integrated management system, looking at new and future technologies.
22. Create written technology evaluations for future technology adoption that aligns with the project goals.
23. Assist with the preparation of tender proposals where necessary.
24. The BIM Site Coordinator will report to the BIM Manager of the client’s BIM Department if needed.
25. Provide client and PM’s BIM Manager with weekly updates to keep aligned with the project schedule.
26. Assure the reports will be in line with company and/or client requirements.
Qualifications
You will have the following:
27. Bachelor's or Master degree in a subject related to the construction industry
28. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the engineering/construction industry of medium to large capital projects
29. A minimum of 3 years of experience within the BIM industry
30. Experience in a construction-based role is preferably
31. Good knowledge of English and Dutch
32. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential
Your technical skills should be:
33. Thorough understanding of computer systems and applications
34. Excellent understanding of the modeling process
35. Revit
36. Navisworks
37. AutoCAD
38. Any other Autodesk software is preferably
39. Programming skills will be preferable
40. BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud Design and Docs
41. BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud additional modules and products (ideally)
