We are not a technology consultancy and we do not implement tools. Our role is strategic: we work with executive teams to make clear, high-impact choices on how data & AI create value in the business, the operating model and the organization, and how those choices are effectively executed.
We advise organizations across food manufacturing, healthcare, insurance and HR services, typically working closely with CEOs, COOs and CIOs.
Our headquarters are based in Ghent, deliberately.
From Ghent, we are closely connected to a strong AI startup ecosystem and to investors and scale-ups (e.g. via Miles Ahead). This position allows us to combine strategic depth with a sharp understanding of what is technologically and organizationally feasible, without becoming a technology vendor ourselves.
The role
As a Strategy Consultant (Manager), you act as engagement lead on strategic data & AI transformation programs. You carry end-to-end responsibility for your engagements and play an active role in shaping the future of Madison Partners.
You will:
* lead strategy workshops with executive teams and senior leadership
* assess how data & AI impact business models, operating models and decision-making
* translate strategic ambitions into clear choices, priorities and roadmaps
* safeguard focus, quality and strategic coherence across engagements
* provide content leadership to consultants on projects
* act as a trusted sparring partner to clients during transformation and change
* actively contribute to business development, together with the partners: shaping propositions, deepening client relationships and identifying new opportunities
This role is explicitly designed as a long-term position, with a clear growth path toward Senior Manager and Partner for those who take ownership and contribute to building the firm.
Who we are looking for
You:
* have at least 5 years of experience in strategy or management consulting
* are comfortable working with senior executives
* combine strong analytical skills with clear communication and compelling storytelling
* primarily think in business and organizational terms, not in technology
* understand data, analytics and AI concepts well enough to drive strategic decision-making
* are looking for more ownership, impact and responsibility than typical consulting roles offer
* want to help build a firm, not just deliver individual projects
Experience in one of our focus industries (Healthcare, Food Manufacturing, HR Services, or Insurance) is a strong plus.
This role is particularly well suited for consultants with experience at Tier-1 strategy firms (e.g. McKinsey, Bain, BCG or similar), who want to apply their strategic skillset in transformations that truly get implemented.
