OverviewMake your mark for patients. We are looking for a Principal Statistician who is collaborative, influential, and innovation-minded to join us in the Biometrics and Data Science team, based in Raleigh, NC, Slough, UK, Brussels, Belgium or Monheim, Germany. This is a hybrid position and requires employees to be in the office 40% of the time. This is not a remote role.About the RoleIn this global role, you’ll be a key contributor to one or more compound indications (or early development compounds) for Statistics, reporting to a (Senior) Project Lead Statistician or Senior Principal Statistician (or East Asia Lead, if applicable). You will help shape development strategy and drive the direction for quantitative analytics, innovation, and reporting, while ensuring quality-by-design and first time-right delivery of Biometrics and Data Science deliverables across programs.What You’ll DoProvide statistical leadership at indication/compound level across development stagesTranslate strategy into tactical plans, operations, and quality deliveryPartner with leaders on development and regulatory strategy and designBe accountable for biometrics deliverables supporting project decision makingDrive continuous improvement and transformation of the statistics operating modelRepresent Biometrics/Statistics internally and externally to enhance reputationWho You’ll Work WithBiometrics and Data Science colleagues across statistics and programmingCross-functional indication (or compound) teams across Development and RegulatoryStatistical Innovation partners to bring modern analytics and digital solutionsInternal and external stakeholders, including health authorities as neededEducation, Experience and SkillsMinimum QualificationsMaster’s degreeMinimum of 6 years pharma industry experience (4 years with PhD)Preferred QualificationsPhD (preferred) in Statistics/Biostatistics (or equivalent)Clinical trial design, analysis, and reporting experience in relevant phasesProficient in statistical programming (e.g., SAS or R) and simulation toolsStrong stakeholder skills; explain complex quantitative concepts to non-expertsKnowledge of CDISC standards (SDTM/ADaM); submission experienceAre you ready to ‘go beyond’ to create value and make your mark for patients?
