Description Overview
Exciting opportunity for a Sales Assistant Retail to join the team at our office in Ghent Belgium. In this role you are supporting the Sales Team with focus on Food Retail, Drugstores, E-commerce & Parapharmacy. You will be a part of a team of 5 Key Account Managers and report to the Market Lead BeLux. You will also have frequent contact and consultation with other departments such as Supply Chain and CS&I.
Scope of the Role
1. Lead new customer creation process.
2. Update customer sheets and maintain customer assortment.
3. Article creation at customer site and follow up..
4. Support article creation in GS1 by the Masterdata team.
5. Completing promotion sheets.
6. Ensure customer documents are up-to-date and completed.
7. Maintain price lists and support communication to customers if changes are made.
8. Trimestral checking of prices, conditions and item information with customers.
9. Handle, follow up and deal with problems and complaints, invoices & fines. Lead monthly meeting.
10. Delivery of reports.
11. Digital archiving of contracts.
12. Support on master data & GS1o Optimising process.
13. You take a critical look at the existing way of working and see how it can be more efficient.
14. You take the lead in improving tools and work together with the various departments for this (Master Data, Customer Service, etc.).
15. Organisation of sales meetings and other internal events.
16. Coordination and technical support of internal meetings such as monthly business update.
Experience Required
17. You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
18. Experience in Retail or Pharma is a big plus.
19. You communicate fluently both spoken and written in Dutch and French, knowledge of English is a plus.
20. You are good at setting priorities and are stress resistant.
21. You work in a very structured way and plan very well. Organisational skills are your trademark.
22. You have a good knowledge of the Office package. You are also good at familiarising yourself with new systems.
23. You are a team player and like to jump in where necessary.
24. Experience in FMCG or Pharma is a big plus.
