As a TAX SPECIALIST, you will be responsible for managinglocal tax matters and ensuring compliance with local regulations. You will alsohandle corporate tax matters, working closely with the corporate tax manager oninternational tax issues across jurisdictions.
Your key responsibilities as local tax specialist:
You will serve as the central point of contact for alltax-related matters, coordinating between internal teams, external advisors,and regulatory bodies. You will ensure compliance with local tax regulations,managing the timely and accurate submission of tax filings.
You will also lead local tax audits, working to resolveany issues and ensure compliance with audit requirements. Identifyingopportunities for local tax incentives and overseeing the accounting ofdeferred tax assets and liabilities will also be key aspects of your role.
Your key responsibilities as corporate tax specialist:
In collaboration with the corporate tax manager, you willassist with managing tax compliance, risk management, and global tax projectsto optimize the company’s tax position and minimize risks. You will also be involvedin developing and implementing strategies for tax incentives and supporting duediligence processes by analyzing tax implications of potential transactions.
Additionally, you will contribute to VAT filings, customsduties, and trade compliance across jurisdictions, ensuring adherence toregulations. You will also manage VAT and tax setup within the ERP system(SAP), ensuring accurate integration into business processes.
In this role, you report to the Oleon corporate tax manager.
You'll succeed if:
You have a passion for tax, a master’s degree inaccounting with specialization in taxation, and several years of relevantexperience. Background within the Big 4 is considered an asset, as well asfamiliarity with SAP.
