QC Manager – Microbiology
Overview
Our client, a global leader in the life sciences sector, is looking to strengthen its microbiology function with an experienced QC professional. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Quality Control activities on site and ensuring the highest standards of compliance and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the Quality Control (QC) microbiology team on site
* Ensure timely release of finished products and raw materials in line with GMP standards
* Oversee training, development, and performance of laboratory technicians
* Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and compliance of laboratory equipment
* Monitor, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems in line with company and regulatory requirements
Profile Requirements
* Proven experience in a QC leadership or management role, Must have Microbiology experience
* Strong knowledge of GMP within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment
* Demonstrated team leadership and people management skills
* Structured, detail-oriented mindset with strong focus on quality and deadlines
