What we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated professional to join our dynamic team as a Ground Operations & Loadmaster Officer! This role combines administrative responsibilities with a strong focus on special loads, contributing to safe and efficient cargo operations in a fast-growing and challenging aviation environment.
Your responsibilities
The Ground Operations Officer & Loadmaster will support the NP Ground Operations and the Chief Loadmaster.
Compliance
Comply with regulatory requirements and company manuals and procedures.
Detect and report, hazards and risks associated to the ground activities
Oversight of the safe and careful use of company aircraft during ground operations.
Act as Challenge Airlines (BE) Ground Operations Representative on charter flights when needed.
Special loads
Be responsible for the special loads approval/calculation for Challenge Group
Identify risks associated to the loading/unloading of oversize cargo
Ensure Boeing limitations and company regulations are respected during special loads process
Provide load-ability documents, and tie-down instructions
Provide support for ground handling providers and commercial teams, with additional documentation such as tie-down sheet, 3D drawings, …
Trainings and records
Participate to the development of training contents with the senior loadmaster, aligned with regulatory requirements and best industry practices
Support Chief Loadmaster to deliver training to ground staff
Your profile
Open-minded, willing to learn and adapt to a challenging operational environment
Organized and work in a structured way
Excellent communication skills
English is fluent, knowledge of French and/or Dutch are a plus
Travel may regularly be required
Extensive experience as a loadmaster on freighter aircraft
Current on IATA DGR Regulations
Experienced in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Have the ability to work in a team and independently as the role signifies
Valid qualification of loadmaster/load controller on wide-body aircraft
