Field Application & Service Specialist – Medical Devices (IVD)Location: Liège region, Belgium (International travel ~50%)Contract: Full-timeAbout the roleOn behalf of one of our partners (exclusive mandate), we are recruiting a Field Application & Service Specialist to strengthen an international Customer Care team supporting innovative diagnostic solutions (kit + instrument + software) in a regulated medical environment.This hybrid role combines application support, system diagnostics and field intervention, with significant international exposure.Key responsibilitiesSupport on-site deployments: participate in commissioning, calibration and validation, and support installations when needed (depending on project complexity and experience level)Perform end-to-end troubleshooting (root cause analysis across consumables/reagents, instrument performance, calibration and system configuration)Provide application support and training to customers and distributorsDeliver first-line remote support and structured pre-diagnostics before on-site interventionContribute to preventive maintenance campaigns and perform minor corrective actions when necessaryEnsure proper service reporting and documentationProvide structured field feedback to R&D / QC-Validation / Product teamsProfileScientific background (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or similar)Experience: 5+ years in Field Application, Technical Support, Field Service, Customer Support or similar role (medical devices/IVD is a plus)Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret results and dataSystem-oriented approach (configuration, parameters, interface, data interpretation) rather than pure mechanical focusComfortable in customer-facing environments (training, support, on-site interventions)Fluent in English (Spanish is an asset)Willingness to travel internationally (~50%)Nice to haveExperience in IVD or medical devices environmentExposure to regulated environments (ISO 13485, quality systems)Previous field-based experienceHow to applySend your CV to job@talent-up.be with “Field Application” in the subject line, or contact me directly via private message on LinkedIn.Confidential process.
