Your Work Context
For this position, fluent knowledge of the French language is a prerequisite.
As an administrative employee, you make sure, with your structured and decisive approach, that our building projects run seamlessly. In Charleroi, you will take part in building the Google buildings.
Major civil engineering projects are an important activity at Jan De Nul. As part of these projects, we offer private and public clients a total, customized package. And these are often great clients, like Google. Would you like to take part in this prestigious project?
Your Role
Administrative confidant of the site manager
From the construction site, you lead the operations of this large-scale construction project. You take care of the administrative and organisational support of the site team – think project and site managers.
You work closely together with the site manager and therefore, you have a crucial role, because without your support, our colleagues and subcontractors on site cannot do their job.
Your tasks:
* You manage the project's daily administration and ensure that all digital and physical documents are kept up to date.
* You encode timesheets, lists, and quality checks, and upload and organise documents on platforms such as Aconex, Dalux, or SharePoint.
* You review incoming documents and delivery notes, keeping tracking files and Excel sheets updated.
* You support site management and the quality department by preparing audits, meetings, reports, and as-built dossiers.
* You handle social compliance follow-up: registrations, badges, personnel files, and subcontractors' legal documents.
* You contribute to weekly and monthly reporting and ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly.
You can learn on the job thanks to your close work relationship with the site manager and your numerous contacts with other colleagues.
What do you need to have?
* You have at least an A2 diploma and preferably a bachelor's degree in an administrative field.
* Work experience is definitely a bonus, because you will have a lot of responsibilities in a huge project. But you can still convince us without job experience.
* With your clear communication style, you can create order in an often complex work environment.
* You're fluent in French, knowledge of English is a plus.
* You can work independently and you will make sure everything runs smoothly on the construction site.
