What You’ll Be Doing Designing, developing, and evolving interactive Tableau dashboards that drive business outcomes and user engagement Ensuring ergonomic, legible, and impactful data visualizations aligned with best practices Preparing, cleaning, transforming, and structuring data using Tableau Prep Builder and SQL Analyzing and validating source data to guarantee consistency and reliability in reporting Connecting to diverse data sources, creating or adapting Tableau extracts, and optimizing performance Diagnosing and resolving dashboard performance issues, including query optimization and load time analysis Publishing dashboards to Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud, managing access rights, refresh schedules, and project organization Collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure solutions meet evolving needs What We’re Looking For Proven experience (confirmed level) in Tableau Desktop for dashboard creation, evolution, and optimization Mastery of Tableau Prep Builder for data preparation, cleaning, and transformation Strong command of Tableau Server and/or Tableau Cloud for publication, access management, and project organization Advanced skills in SQL for data extraction and manipulation Deep understanding of data visualization best practices and user experience optimization Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data challenges Ownership mentality — you drive outcomes, not just tasks Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments Ability to work partially remote, with presence in Brussels as required Technical Skills Tableau Desktop (confirmed) Tableau Prep Builder (confirmed) Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud (confirmed) SQL (development and optimization) Data visualization and dashboard UX best practices Language Proficiency Professional proficiency in English required French or Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage Other Requirements Freelance availability for a project-based mission (20 days between ASAP and 31/12/2026) Eligibility to work in Belgium Experience in public sector or large-scale enterprise environments is a plus Ready to build the future with us?
