Description About the role For our Animal Health Supply Chain organisation, we are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support and coordinate supply chain activities across sites. Based in Arendonk, you ensure material and product availability, support production planning between Arendonk and Arques, and contribute to a reliable service level within a regulated manufacturing environment. In this role, you manage supply flows across the internal network, including intercompany orders between Arques (manufacturing) and Arendonk (final packaging), and oversee procurement for externally manufactured products. You work closely with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, Logistics, and Procurement teams to optimize planning parameters, maintain accurate master data, and support improvement initiatives that enhance service, cost efficiency, and compliance. Your key responsibilities Manage daily supply chain operations to ensure the availability of bulk, packaging materials, and finished goods in line with demand and production plans Place and follow up on intercompany orders for goods produced in Arques and packed in Arendonk, monitoring confirmations, lead times, and delivery performance Manage orders for externally manufactured products and coordinate with suppliers, Procurement, and Quality to resolve supply issues Support production planning by reviewing material and capacity constraints, planning parameters, and inventory targets across Arendonk and Arques Maintain and develop master data (e.g. item data, BOMs, routings, lead times, planning policies, safety stocks) to enable robust planning Monitor supply chain KPIs, identify risks and opportunities, and take action to improve OTIF, inventory turnover, and reduce obsolescence Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives and small projects related to planning, ordering, systems, and ways of working—including optimizing final packing locations between sites Follow up on Distribution and Pharmacovigilance agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders Act as the main point of contact for suppliers regarding forecasted needs, annual volumes, order changes, and general coordination Handle and coordinate potential claim situations You will be part of the Animal Health Supply Chain organisation and report directly to Irina Tornikoski, Director Global Supply Operations, Animal Health. Our expectations We are looking for a supply chain professional with several years of experience in operations, planning, or supply execution within a manufacturing or regulated environment. You are comfortable working independently within a complex supply network and taking decisions within your scope. Required qualifications: Strong understanding of supply flows and experience coordinating across multiple sites and stakeholders Practical experience with production planning concepts (MRP, lead times, safety stock, planning parameters) Experience in regulated industries; exposure to pharmaceuticals or animal health is an advantage A relevant university degree (e.g. Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or similar) Fluency in English and Dutch; French is considered a strong advantage How you work You are proactive, structured, and hands-on, with a strong sense of ownership You communicate clearly and manage stakeholders effectively You are able to prioritize and manage multiple topics in a fast-paced environment You combine attention to detail with a good understanding of the broader supply network You are comfortable working with systems and data (ERP (e.g., D365), master data, Excel) Basic understanding of import, customs processes, and transportation arrangements is an asset How to apply and additional information If this role sounds like your next career step, we invite you to apply.
