Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, autonomous, and hands-on profile to design and deliver technical training (on-site and remote) for external and internal clients, and to write all product documentation (manuals, application notes, training materials, procedures, technical data sheets). The role combines practical teaching, high-quality documentation production, and feedback for continuous improvement following interactions with participants. The position also contributes to regulatory and legal monitoring related to gas detection.
Main missions
* Design, update, and deliver training courses on our products for different audiences (use, installation, commissioning, maintenance).
* Write and maintain technical documentation: installation and user manuals, maintenance guides, application notes, test procedures, product sheets, technical FAQs, etc.
* Produce various educational materials: presentations, videos, short e-learning modules, practical exercises, skills assessment quizzes.
* Lead training sessions (in-person and remote).
* Collect, structure, and transmit market feedback, field feedback, and needs expressed by participants to Product Management and R&D (product improvement, use cases, regulatory expectations).
* Participate in regulatory and normative monitoring related to safety and gas detection (installation requirements, certification, applicable directives) and ensure documents are updated accordingly.
* Work closely with R&D, industrialization, supply chain, and sales & marketing during product development and launch projects (writing and formatting, launch materials, training packages for partners).
* Set up and manage a structured training catalog for employees, customers, and partners.
Operational Responsibilities
* Planning and execution of the training schedule for partners.
* Delivery of practical on-site modules (commissioning, calibration, diagnostics).
* Technical validation and document compliance with industry practices and legal requirements.
* Monitoring of quality indicators (training satisfaction, documentation compliance, update time).
* Ensuring consistency and terminological quality of documents (standardization, version management).
Candidate Profile — Experience & Education
* Higher technical education (electronics, electrical engineering, instrumentation, chemistry, or equivalent industrial experience).
* Significant professional experience (ideally ≥ 5 years) in fire detection and/or gas detection with field experience. A profile with fire detection + flammable gas experience is particularly valued.
* Proven experience in technical training (instructional design, facilitation, evaluation) and/or technical writing (manuals, application notes).
Technical Skills and Tools
* Technical knowledge of gas detection devices (sensor principles, calibration, alarms, system architectures) and/or good knowledge of electricity, electronics, and instrumentation.
* Understanding of applicable safety rules and requirements (ATEX zones / equipment in explosive atmospheres).
* Proficiency in document production tools (advanced MS Office).
* Experience with an LMS and/or e-learning tools.
* Ability to produce clear and reproducible diagrams, procedures, and checklists.
* Aptitude for handling field equipment for demonstrations and practical sessions.
