As our Corporate Buyer Co-Manufacturing, you join the team that manages the procurement activities within the network of our co-producers, reporting directly to the Corporate Procurement Manager Co-Manufacturing and based in Lembeke, Belgium.About the jobYou develop effective negotiation strategies and action plans, maintain & build effective relationships with new & existing suppliers and manage them on both strategic and operational levels, always keeping price competitiveness, contingency, quality & sustainability into consideration.You use our existing sourcing processes and structures to support the business strategy, working integrated with both internal (NPD, Sales, Leadership, Supply Chain, …) and external (suppliers) key stakeholders in order to achieve our business objectives and support the company’s growth.Finding an optimized balance between costs, supply-reliability and quality, you conclude framework contracts based on the Lotus philosophy of “Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)”.Providing input for the various financial reports, you prepare and give business & projects updates, both internally and externally.About youTo be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:A Master’s degree in a relevant study field, combined with a minimum of 5 years experience in procurement.
