Position The Cancer Ecosystems and Metastasis Laboratory (CEMLab) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB), led by Panagiotis (Takis) Karras, is seeking for a skilled bioinformatician with experience in single-cell multi-omics. Applicants should demonstrate expertise in programming languages (Python and/or R) as well as experience working with high-performance computing clusters. Received a MSc in Bioinformatics or PhD within 4 years ( or are about to graduate from a PhD program) in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field of biology.
· For postdoc position have first-authored original publication (s) in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
· Demonstrated experience in cancer biology.
· Proficiency in Python and/or R.
· Experience with high-performance computing clusters and single-cell omics data analysis and integration.
· Collaborate with wet lab scientists to refine and integrate datasets.
· A 4-year funded PhD position or full-time 2-year contract (for postdoc level), with the possibility of extension.
