I'm partnered with client in Brussels hiring for a highly skilled and experienced Java Architect to join an innovative Artificial Intelligence solutions provider in Brussels.
As a Java Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and building high-performance, scalable, and reliable AI systems. Your deep knowledge of Java, along with expertise in AI technologies, will enable you to contribute to transformative projects at the forefront of artificial intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and implementation of complex AI systems and software applications using Java. Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business goals.
* Collaborate with AI teams to integrate machine learning models and AI algorithms into robust and efficient Java-based applications.
* Guide development teams on best practices for Java architecture, design patterns, and modern software engineering methodologies.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, AI researchers, and data scientists, to define technical requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
* Mentor junior architects and developers, providing guidance on both technical challenges and career growth within the AI ecosystem.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
* A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development and architecture, with a strong emphasis on large-scale enterprise applications.
* Technologies: Java 17(at least, but preferred 21), Spring Boot 3.x.x, JavaScript, Spring Security,
* Documentation: UML diagrams, ArchiMedes, Gliphy, Lucid chart, Confluence, Sequence diagrams
* Architecture Patterns: Micro-services, event driven architecture, clean architecture
* Messaging Technologies: Kafka, alternative could be RabbitMQ
* Frameworks: Spring Boot, Hibernate, React, OAuth2
* Security: PKI
* Database: PostreSQL
* Cloud Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
* Code versioning: Git, Gitlab, Github
* Methodologies: Scrum, Scrumban
* Ticketing Management: Jira
* Logging: Kibana, Elastic Search, LogStash, Kibana
