Currently we are seeking a proactive engineer to join our team. The role involves technical assessments, coordination with developers, and collaboration across departments to ensure project success. Ideal candidates have experience in the PV industry, strong analytical skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Responsabilities:
* Assist to the coordination and management of the PV projects from development stage to RTB status or during construction stage.
* Follow up with developers to ensure projects are delivered according to timing and terms.
* Collaboration with technical department for a first screening of potential assets acquisition or participation in SPVs.
* Prepare, review, or improve specifications and recommendations for EPC RfQ process for PV Plants and Evacuation Infrastructures in collaboration with in-house and external resources.
* Revision of Resource and Energy Yield Assessment external reports.
* Interact with different departments in the context of Due Diligence process for acquisition or liquidation process with the support of advisors.
* Contribute to the preparation of estimate and update project CapEx and OpEx getting information from externals.
* Being aware of new technologies available in the market as batteries, hydrogen or hybridization of PV and Wind.
* Review of engineering studies, land feasibility, environmental impact assessment and other technical staff in connection to the projects.
* Get involve into commercial and regulatory analysis to support business development to the team in Spain.
* Undertake site visits to both new greenfield sites and projects under development.
Candidate profile:
* Engineer with at least 2 years of professional experience within the solar PV industry working for an EPC Contractor, IPP/Project Developer or Consultancy firm.
* Experience working during pre-construction stage or Due Diligence processes.
* Master`s Degree in Engineering with a post-graduate training in Renewable Energies is a plus.
* Technical background within the solar PV Industry.
* Desirable background within Wind projects.
* Familiar with AutoCAD and PVsyst required
* Knowledge of GIS software and renewable energy design software (PVcase PVsyst, WaSP, WindPRO, etc.) highly desirable.
* Fluent in Spanish and English
* Highly self-motivated, with strong initiative and creative thinking.
* Ability to work in coordination with other team members
* Willingness to travel regularly within Spain or any other European country.
