Role: SAP Functional Consultant – HR & FICO
Client: Railway Public Authority
Location: Ringstation II B, Tweestationsstraat 82
1. Objective:
The railway public client seeks a qualified SAP Functional Consultant (HR–FICO) to support the modernization and integration of HR and Financial processes within its SAP ERP environment. The consultant will ensure compliance with public sector regulations, optimize workflows, and provide functional expertise for ongoing and future projects.
2. Scope of Work:
* HR Module (SAP HCM/SuccessFactors):
* Configure and support payroll, time management, and personnel administration.
* Ensure compliance with Belgian labor laws and railway-specific collective agreements.
* Integrate HR processes with finance and controlling modules.
* FICO Module (Finance & Controlling):
* Implement and maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting aligned with public sector standards.
* Ensure integration with procurement, HR, and project systems.
* Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
* Conduct gap analysis and propose functional solutions.
* Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments and enhancements.
* Provide training and documentation for end-users.
* Support audits, compliance checks, and financial transparency initiatives.
3. Key Deliverables
* Functional specifications and configuration documents.
* Test scripts and execution reports for HR–FICO processes.
* End-user training materials and workshops.
* Periodic status reports to project management and client stakeholders.
4. Required Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years of SAP HR and FICO functional consulting experience.
* Proven track record in public sector or railway industry projects.
* Strong knowledge of Belgian payroll, taxation, and public accounting standards.
* Experience in integration with SAP MM, SD, and SuccessFactors.
* Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French.
5. Compliance & Standards
* Adherence to EU procurement regulations and Belgian public sector compliance.
* Alignment with GDPR for HR data management.
* Conformance with railway authority's internal IT governance and audit requirements.
