🚀 Sales Development Representative (SDR) / Business Development Representative (BDR) | Ghent, Belgium


A fast-growing SaaS company is expanding its commercial team and is looking for a Sales Development Representative / Business Development Representative to help accelerate growth across Benelux and Northern Europe.

The company provides a powerful software platform that helps organisations optimise operations, improve decision-making, and improve efficiency through data-driven insights. With strong customer adoption and increasing market demand, the business is entering an exciting stage of scale.

With a team of around 40 people and strong commercial momentum, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a scaling SaaS company and play a key role in building the company’s future pipeline.


This role is ideal for a motivated and commercially curious individual who enjoys engaging with new people, identifying opportunities, and opening doors for the sales team.


🔍 Your Role

As an SDR / BDR, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and generating pipeline for the Account Executive team.

You will be the first point of contact with prospective customers, introducing the platform and helping organisations understand how it can solve their challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, and social selling)
* Identifying and qualifying potential customers and decision-makers
* Booking high-quality discovery meetings and product demos for the sales team
* Building and managing a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
* Conducting initial discovery conversations to understand prospect needs
* Collaborating closely with Account Executives and marketing to refine outreach strategies
* Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and sales tools
* Supporting lead generation through events, campaigns, and inbound follow-ups

Success in this role requires someone who is comfortable picking up the phone, starting conversations with new prospects, and building early-stage relationships.


🎯 What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive individual who wants to build a career in B2B SaaS sales.

Key requirements include:

* Fluent in English and Dutch
* 1–3 years of experience in a sales, SDR, BDR, or customer-facing role (SaaS or tech preferred)
* Strong ability to communicate clearly and confidently with new prospects
* A proactive mindset with the ability to generate new opportunities through outreach
* Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple leads and conversations
* Resilient, coachable, and motivated to achieve targets and develop in sales
* Based in Belgium or willing to travel to the Ghent office regularly
