The organization is active through renowned brands such as Starline Pools, Sterck Zwembaden, Poolquip, Roldeck, Ocea, etc.

From their offices in Zaventem (CF Group Benelux) & Valkenswaard (Poolquip), CF Group Benelux supports the regional market through distribution, wholesale activities, technical expertise and professional customer support. The company supplies a broad portfolio of products including pool shells, automatic covers, pumps, filters, water treatment systems, lighting, heating solutions, automation systems, maintenance equipment, chemicals and a wide range of accessories for professional installers and dealers.

To further strengthen their Benelux organization, we are supporting them in the search for a highly motivated Business Unit Manager.

Job Description:

As Business Unit Manager you will have full end-to-end responsibility for the distribution & wholesale activities across the Benelux market.

In this role, you will combine operational leadership, commercial development and strategic decision-making, whilst aligning your business unit with the wider Benelux group strategy.

* You will be responsible for the overall management and further professionalization of the business unit, leading a team of 20–25 FTE’s active within sales, front - & back office support and operations.
* You will have full P&L responsibility for your business unit, monitoring profitability, budgets, margins and business performance.
* You will provide strategic input regarding suppliers, product portfolio decisions and distribution opportunities.
* Together with the Business Development Director, and the sales team, you will drive commercial growth by strengthening existing customer relationships, supporting the acquisition and onboarding of new dealers and professional B2B partners, whilst negotiating larger framework agreements and key commercial partnerships.
* You will drive operational excellence by identifying efficiencies, optimizing processes and improve alignment between their activities in Zaventem & Valkenswaard.
* You will collaborate closely with the other Business Unit Managers across the group to drive synergies, alignment and best practice sharing.
* You report directly to the Managing Director Benelux.

Experience:

* You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, providing a strong foundation for a commercial leadership role.
* You bring solid experience in business unit management, general management, dealer management, or a similar leadership role within a B2B distribution or trading environment.
* Relevant sector experience is considered a strong asset.
* You are hands‑on, entrepreneurial and comfortable balancing strategic priorities with day‑to‑day operations.
* Experience managing a P&L and translating numbers into concrete business actions, KPI’s and objectives is essential.
* You have extensive people management experience and know how to coach teams towards performance and accountability.
* You have strong communication skills and know how to create your buy‑in towards internal- and external stakeholders.
* You are able to navigate in a multicultural environment with multiple stakeholders and international reporting lines.
* Fluency in Dutch, French and English are required.
