Job Description
A key player in our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies that optimize our power asset portfolio. You will analyze short-term power markets to identify trends and opportunities, staying informed about energy trading developments to drive growth and profitability.
* You will steer and develop trading strategies, particularly in algorithmic trading, and improve existing systems related to marketing and nomination of renewables.
* Conduct thorough analyses of short-term power markets, staying up-to-date on energy trading developments to inform strategy.
* Develop PPA portfolios for the Greater Region (LU, DE, FR, NL), acquiring PPAs and directing marketing volumes.
* Work closely with internal teams to align trading strategies with overall business objectives.
* Provide valuable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making related to short-term power asset trading.
Requirements
We are looking for highly skilled professionals with a strong educational background in Economics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field. As a key member of our team, you should possess:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and understand complex energy market challenges.
* Flexibility, availability, and high stress resistance, enabling effective time management and multiple task handling.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
