Job Description
Our mission: to simplify international transportation through technology and data! Founded in 2017, OVRSEA is a new generation freight forwarder that uses technology to simplify and optimize international transportation for companies. We support more than 700 companies such as Engie, Vinci, Devialet, Sézane, or even Nuxe in more than 60 countries in their international freight transport. We allow our customers to manage all their transport issues in a few clicks from our web interface, from quotation to invoicing, by digitizing the entire transport tracking experience. We have also developed an in‑house platform to facilitate the operational management of our customers’ transportation needs in order to meet their requirements in record time.
About OVRSEA—Fast Growing Company
With already 120 employees worldwide, OVRSEA will continue its growth in 2026 as part of a merger with two other freight forwarders, forming a group of more than 800 people across four continents. Following this merger, we aim to open a new country: Belgium, to drive the group’s commercial and operational development in this market.
Join Belgium Expansion
What if you joined us to support the development of this new office?
The Customs Team
The Customs team is part of our Operations department. Our Customs Declarants do more than simply handle customs formalities for our clients. They act as true partners, supporting them on all customs related matters.
Key stakeholders: internally, the Operations and Sales teams; externally, our clients and the Belgian customs authorities.
Why this role is unique
This is not just another Customs Declarant position. It is a strategic role created to support OVRSEA’s expansion into the Belgian market. Today, we do not have a Customs team in Belgium. Our growth is accelerating and we are preparing to open our first Customs office in Antwerp. In the mid‑term, our ambition is to build a local team and structure our customs operations on site. As the first Customs Declarant in Belgium, you will play a pivotal role in this launch. You will combine operational expertise, autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit, with a direct impact on our local growth. You will not only manage declarations. You will help lay the foundations of our Belgian Customs activity.
