Naval Group is one of the largest international Naval Contractors. For more than 400 years, we have been constantly pushing the limits to build the naval ships to deliver technological superiority to our Customers. In our recent and growing Belgian office we focus on cyber, systems for Mine Counter Measures and Services. We have a rapidly growing relationship with the European community (EC) as we now deal with projects at different stages, from early bid to final delivery.
As part of the development of its activities, Naval Group Belgium (NGB) is looking for a EU Director M/F/X. For all EU projects for which NGB has some interest (prospecting, bids, execution) the EU Director M/F/X manages on the one hand all activities to ensure the selection, the negotiation and the agreement with the customer of a competitive Bid, this until the entry into force of the expected contract in conjunction with Sales, Engineering and Procurement and on the other hand the delivery of our contracted deliveries whilst satisfying the customer (EC and MoDs). You guarantee the technical and industrial consistency, the cost (internal costs and procurement) and the competitiveness of the projects, from the decision to launch the offer to the closure of the contract in line with the EC rules and practices.
Key Responsibilities In the prospecting/promotion phase, contribute to the development of the capture plan.
Propose the response strategy of the offer both on the product aspect and the local industrial organization aspect.
Lead the development of partnerships with our local Belgian partners and coordinate within the Group the different teams in France and/or Belgium.
Ensure the constituency of the project under the cost-quality-time and technical aspects until the winning of the case.
Contribute to exchanges with the customer in support of the sales department.
Execute the Contract within the allocated budget and schedule.
Ensure EC Satisfaction.
This position will be based in our office in Brussels.
Profile WHAT ABOUT YOU?
You have acquired significant experience (15 yrs minimum) in the management of industrial bids for complex systems and in relations with the EC. You are used to the EC rules and processes. An existing EU entities network, especially the EC is required. You have excellent managerial skills, experience in negotiation and a very good relational. English is mandatory; other languages (Dutch and/or French) are a strong advantage.
Substantial international travel is foreseen to France; some travel in the other EU countries might occur.
