Jacon Legal is looking for a Legal Counsel with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Within the global legal team of the Getronics group, you will be responsible for advising on various legal matters, providing legal support and advice to all Getronics BeFraLux divisions and companies.
As a multidisciplinary team player, you will work closely with the Senior BeFraLux Legal Counsel/Vice Global Legal Counsel for the region and other functions within the company (Tax, Finance, HR, Sales, Internal Audit/Compliance, Budget & Control), as well as external specialists, to support the Getronics business in BeFraLux and to function as a dynamic part of an international team of Legal Counsels.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, specifically ICT contracts and other agreements with our main customers (public, financial, and industry sectors) and suppliers.
2. Support and advise Business proactively in closing deals, projects, and concluding service level agreements and contracts, adding significant value for the business.
3. Keep the Business and management informed of relevant legal evolutions concerning commercial law, IT law, intellectual property law, company law, public procurement law, EU law, and other relevant legal developments in the sector.
4. Implement and monitor corporate governance obligations of the companies in the BeFraLux region.
5. Monitor legal conflicts, communicate with external lawyers, and manage budgets.

As part of an international Legal team, you will:
1. Report to the Senior Legal Counsel BeFraLux/Vice Global Legal Counsel.
2. Work closely with the Legal Counsels of other group companies.
3. Support and/or be responsible for legal assistance on international deals.
4. Contribute to the legal policy of the group on matters such as legal strategic thinking, compliance programs, training programs, improving templates, and circulating know-how.
Profile
* Willingness to work as part of a team and assist on all matters.
* An additional Master’s degree or training in ICT, IP, Public Procurement Law, Privacy Law, or corporate law is advantageous.
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house.
* Relevant experience in a commercial/ICT service area or similar business is a plus.
* Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
* Excellent interpersonal skills – able to build relationships across diverse stakeholders.
* Clear and effective communication skills – able to express views independently and clearly.
* Sense of co-responsibility and ownership.
