As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing a client portfolio, managing a team of consultants, and ensuring the successful delivery of engineering services. You will play a key role in shaping our commercial strategy and recruiting top talent to support client needs.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
Business Development
* Identify and prospect new clients within a defined perimeter of one of our Business Units
* Participate to the development and implementation of a tailored commercial strategy aligned with company goals.
* Design and present customized service offers in collaboration with technical teams.
* Lead contract negotiations and close commercial agreements.
* Build long-term relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups and proactive support.
* Represent the company at industry events, job fairs, and networking opportunities.
Recruitment
* Define with BU Manager the recruitment strategy based on market needs and project opportunities.
* Oversee the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, interviews, and candidate assessments.
* Participate to the onboarding of new consultants and support their professional growth and development.
People Management
* Monitor consultant performance and ensure alignment with client expectations, with the help of a Team Manager.
* Foster a positive team culture and encourage continuous learning and growth.
* Design personalized career development plans, lead annual performance reviews, and target training programs to strengthen key competencies of your team members, with the help of the HR department.
ABOUT YOU:
* Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum 1 year of proven experience in sales or business development
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven approach to business development and team management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive successful outcomes.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
* Willingness to develop insights and get familiar with business trends in the Energy & Process industries
* Fluent in French and English
