Job Description
The Team Lead for Product Experts oversees a regional team responsible for the Air/Belt and Peeling product portfolio across EMEA. This role ensures technical excellence, consistent training delivery, and high-quality support for internal stakeholders and service teams. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership with good product and application knowledge, enabling the team to provide best-in-class technical back-office support and technical development services.
This is a hybrid role based in our Leuven office.
Key responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development:
1. Empower and mentor experts for performance and growth.
2. Set goals, KPIs, and priorities aligned with strategy.
3. Build collaborative, customer-focused team culture.
4. Optimize resources and workloads.
Technical Back-Office Support
5. Oversee support for Air/Belt and Peeling portfolio.
6. Handle escalations, analysis, and documentation.
7. Collaborate on issues, insights, and best practices for uptime.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
8. Deliver training and learning paths for teams/partners.
9. Support certifications and skill evaluations.
Continuous Improvement
10. Enhance processes, tools, and standardization.
11. Provide insights for portfolio strategy.
Qualifications
12. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology or related field (Master’s is a plus).
13. Experience in product or technical roles, ideally within a service organisation for industrial equipment.
14. Leadership experience with the ability to guide and develop technical teams.
15. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
16. Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle technical challenges.
17. Customer-focused approach and commitment to service quality.
18. Very good English and Dutch skills; French or German is an advantage.
19. Experience with ERP/CRM systems (preferably D365).
20. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 30%.
