As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ESG Reporting Specialist for our headquarters in Lembeke. You are a trusted member of the Corporate Finance team where you focus on the ESG reporting and FP&A activities of Lotus Bakeries Group.
In this challenging job, you will play a key role in the measurement and realisation of sustainability objectives, shaping the Group’s sustainability reporting structure within the regulatory framework. This position reports directly to the Reporting & Consolidation Director and offers exposure to the business in a growing, multinational setting, requiring close collaboration with key stakeholders across the Group.
1. As ESG Reporting Specialist, you play an important role in the preparation of internal and external Group reporting in compliance with the requirements of the Group and applicable regulations (EU CSRD, EU taxonomy).
2. You coordinate the collection, validation, analysis, and communication of non-financial (ESG) data for annual audits, reports or other purposes.
3. You manage KPI measurement and outcome tracking, including data collection of KPI metrics and process and improvement initiatives.
4. You develop reports, dashboards and tools that provide insight into key business data.
5. You provide monthly analysis on the impact and drivers between actuals vs budget.
6. You are the “go-to” person for all non-financial reporting and FP&A matters where you give support and training across the group.
7. You support group wide ESG reporting projects and identify opportunities for standardisation, improvement, and efficiency in current processes/initiatives (e.g., internal/external requests, policy development, data collection).
8. You have a keen interest in ESG and sustainability (CSRD, taxonomy…) with knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS, consolidation…).
9. You have an analytical and critical mindset that allows you to accurately manage the bigger picture as well as the details.
10. You are an ambitious team player with a strong sense of ownership and a can-do mentality.
11. You are stress resistant with a result-oriented attitude to perform and deliver excellent results.
12. You have great communication skills that allow you to tailor your communication to your audience.
13. You have an advanced knowledge of Excel, experience in SAP and BI is considered a plus.
14. You are fluent in Dutch and English and are open to travel from time to time.
