What You'll Do
* Translate business needs into clear, implementable requirements, enabling development teams to deliver without ambiguity
* Map and document end-to-end flows across mainframe and connected systems, ensuring consistency in a complex legacy landscape
* Act as the bridge between business and IT, aligning stakeholders and reducing rework during delivery
* Validate delivered solutions through functional testing and requirement traceability, ensuring production readiness
* Support Agile delivery by clarifying scope, refining backlog, and removing functional blockers
* Ensure that changes integrate smoothly into existing systems, minimizing operational risk in a critical environment
What you bring
* 5+ years as a Business Analyst
* 5+ years working with mainframe environments (COBOL, IMS, DB2)
* Proven experience translating business needs into detailed functional specifications
* Strong understanding of system interactions and data flows across applications
* Experience working in Agile teams with distributed stakeholders
* Experience with frontend-to-mainframe integrations
* Exposure to functional architecture or solution design
* Hands-on involvement in test coordination or UAT
* Experience working with offshore delivery teams
