We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Project Manager who will combine end-to-end project management with an active role in strengthening and maturing the way of working within our team of project managers. This is a hands-on role with additional responsibilities focused on improving methodologies, governance, and overall project excellence (up to 30% of your time). Note: this is a payroll position, but we are also open to contractors who are looking for a long-term commitment. What’s in it for you? A dual role combining hands-on project delivery with structural PMO improvement A challenging and dynamic role within an international organization, requiring only one day onsite per week A long-term engagement with real ownership and visible impact What you will do Project Management (majority of your time): Manage one or more complex IT Infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery Safeguard scope, budget, timeline, risks, and overall delivery quality Proactively manage stakeholders across business and IT Ensure adherence to project management best practices and agreed governance PMO Quality & Continuous Improvement (up to 30% of your workload): Contribute to the optimization of project management standards, frameworks, and governance Strengthen reporting structures and performance tracking Drive consistency in project documentation, planning approaches, and quality controls Actively contribute to raising the overall maturity of the PMO Who you are Must-haves: 5 years of experience as an IT Infrastructure Project Manager, delivering a variety of complex projects Strong stakeholder management, planning, and risk mitigation skills Proficiency in PMI, Prince2 or equivalent project management methodologies, with a a structured, quality-driven mindset Fluent communication in English and the ability to operate effectively within complex organizational structures Nice-to-haves: Experience contributing to process or governance improvements Experience working within a structured PMO environment Relevant project management certifications Fluent communication in Dutch Are you ready to take ownership of complex infrastructure projects while helping to elevate the way projects are managed across our organisation?
