Various sources and applications are accessed through these platforms, built in different data and information layers, and integrated with each other to build (advanced) analytics use cases and reports.In addition, a domain-oriented organization of data teams has been set up in which the data and BI specialists work on the data and information products of the specific domain.In the Assets & Net domain, a data warehouse was built years ago in the SAP stack (SAP BW, HANA). Due to the growing digitization in working with our Client assets (digital meters, digital cabins, CLMS for public lighting, etc.), growing BI & Analytics needs are emerging in this domain, in order to be able to meet them, a migration is underway towards the Azure Databricks data platform.To help build the new data and reporting platform (on Azure), we are looking for an experienced Data & BI consultant who can use their expertise to work on various projects and maintenance assignments on the Client Data and Information platform:further development of this platform according to the architecture and design principles of Clientanalyse, model and shape the use cases in terms of data analytics and business intelligence with the various components on the data and information platformmaintain the Client data and information platform in an operational operationThanks to your expertise and technical background, you can handle the BI and data issues "end-to-end": you are therefore responsible for the needs analysis, for the technical design, the data modeling in the Azure Databricks data platform, and also the visualization/reporting in Power BI. You guide the customer through the entire delivery process.You will also provide support to the data team to keep the BI and data platforms operational:Executing and following up on the daily load jobs and "keep it running" activitiesIncident & Problem managementFollowing up and assisting with planned interventionsFollow-up change & release processIn addition, you are the point of contact to the business and provide functional support to the business users, entirely within the Assets & Net domain.ContextYou will join a self-managing scrum data team of SAP BI and MS Azure BI experts, within which you will carry out the following activities:You will make functional analyses/specifications and discuss them with the various stakeholders (information analysts, information stewards, key users, etc.).Based on the analytical needs, you will develop the data model in the various layers of the platform in accordance with the Client BI regulations.You are responsible for the technical implementation within an MS Azure environment (Databricks, PowerBI) from extraction to final report.You follow the usual development cycle within the platform and respect the Client ICT Change and Release process.You check the work carried out on the basis of a test plan and help to make the test data available to be able to carry out the test cases.You ensure that your work fits within our monitoring and alerting set-up so that all errors are immediately visible so that the agreed service levels can be achieved.You will develop overarching communication and training materials, and keep them up to date (in Enterprise Architect, Confluence and Jira).You are jointly responsible for the lifecycle management and updates/upgrades of the existing environments.You assist the data team in solving technical issues.Based on your expertise, you make improvement proposals within the Client Data and Information platform.You assist business in the use of the reporting and analysis tools or provide them with training.You contribute to the future of Analytics in the Client framework, prepare the customer for future innovations and guide them in the introduction of these changesIn addition:In view of the strong interaction with the business, a very good knowledge of Dutch (both spoken and written) is necessary.Based on his/her expertise, this person must be able to fully participate in the existing team within 2 weeks.
