About the role
The Senior Business Consultant position in Louvain-la-Neuve, within the Financial Services sector, offers the opportunity to implement advanced software solutions, analyze client needs, and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
* Implement the organization's software solution for new and existing clients, ensuring the solution meets client requirements and is delivered on time and within budget
* Analyze client needs and translate them into concrete, actionable solutions within the software
* Draft detailed proposals and reports tailored to client requirements
* Manage projects from initiation to completion, including planning, coordination, and risk assessment
* Collaborate closely with clients to ensure their expectations are met and provide ongoing support during implementation
* Provide clear and comprehensive documentation, including user manuals and training materials
* Support junior consultants when required by offering guidance and sharing expertise
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction
Profile
* Master’s degree in finance, management science, or equivalent experience
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in portfolio management, asset management, or a related field
* Good knowledge of financial products
* Affinity with IT is considered a plus
* Excellent knowledge of French and good knowledge of English
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
* Proven organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Keen attention to detail, particularly in the context of client requirements and software implementation
* Collaborative teamwork with diverse teams and stakeholders
* Adaptability and flexibility to address evolving client needs and project challenges
* Willingness to travel as required
