The OpportunityWe are looking for a mid-level Electrical Engineer to support a growing portfolio of electrical infrastructure and utilities projects. Due to an expected increase in workload and upcoming project awards, additional engineering capacity is required to support both new project launches and ongoing planning activities for a key long-term client.This role offers the chance to work across multiple projects, including substation installations and utility systems, within a dynamic and technically driven environment.
Project ScopeYou will contribute to the design and development of electrical installations across several infrastructure projects, including:New substations (full A–Z electrical scope)Utility systems and installations (MCCs, UPS, transformers, pumps)Cable calculations, electrical studies, and detailed engineering deliverablesProjects are currently in proposal and planning stages, with feasibility and detailed design phases expected to begin once contracts are awarded.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform basic studies and detailed electrical engineering for utility and substation projectsExecute and/or support cable calculations and system sizingSupport project execution from concept through implementationCoordinate internally with colleagues for high-voltage elements when requiredWork independently on assigned engineering packages and deliverables
RequirementsElectrical engineering background with experience in utilities or infrastructure projectsHands-on experience with MCCs, UPS, transformers, and pumpsExperience with cable calculations (preferred but can be developed on the job)Familiar with basic and detailed engineering processesExperience with Caneco or similar electrical design toolsSubstation project exposure is a strong advantage (HV knowledge not required)Able to work independently and manage technical responsibilitiesDutch-speaking (mandatory)
