We are currently looking for an highly motivated
Service Engineer
The Service Engineer will support the AutoJet Systems team by increasing service capacity across Europe. This role involves performing final functional testing of new AutoJet systems produced in our Deinze factory, assisting with system start-ups at customer sites, and providing troubleshooting and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform final functional testing of AutoJet systems before shipment to customers.
2. Support installation and on-site start-up of AutoJet systems at customer locations.
3. Provide first-line technical support (telephone/email) to customers.
4. Conduct on-site service and maintenance for automated spray system solutions.
5. Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.
6. Give feedback to the manufacturing team for system improvements.
7. Participate in spray ability tests in the local lab in Deinze.
8. Assist with nozzle repairs and related tasks.
9. Support sustainability audits at customer sites.
10. Setup/program components for spare parts or new systems.
Requirements:
11. Willingness to travel across Europe for service visits and system start-ups (typical trips: 15 days).
12. Experience with TIA Portal for Siemens PLC platforms (S7-1500, S7-1200), preferably with remote support via eWON.
13. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
14. Knowledge of liquid and air components (valves, pumps, sensors for pressure, flow, temperature) is a plus.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset.
16. Good communication skills in English (additional European languages are a
plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
17. Technical degree in Electromechanics, Automation, or related field.
18. Previous experience in industrial automation or service engineering.

Deinze, Belgium (with frequent travel across Europe)
