Robert Half is currently recruiting an ERP Business Process Analyst to join a pharmaceutical company.
Our client is located in Antwerp.
The scope of responsibilities for this job include:
Business Process Analysis & Documentation:
* Analyze and document critical pharmaceutical business processes, workflows, and business rules using BPM tools (e.g., ARIS, Signavio, Bizagi);
* Leverage BPMN 2.0 and standard modeling methodologies to map and optimize processes for compliance and efficiency;
* Collaborate with global stakeholders in the USA, Netherlands, and UK to refine processes based on operational and regulatory needs.ERP System Integration;
* Align business processes with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP ERP Cloud;
* Coordinate with IT and business units to ensure successful ERP implementation, migration, and validation efforts;
* Identify and address process gaps, recommending automation and enhancements leveraging ERP functionalities.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
* Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps, driving improvements based on Lean Six Sigma principles;
* Develop automation solutions using tools like Power Automate, RPA, or AI-based optimizations;
* Standardize processes across global pharmaceutical operations while ensuring regulatory adherence.
Global BPM Team Development & Leadership:
* Assess global BPM needs and implement strategies for hiring, training, and onboarding regional BPM teams;
* Establish governance frameworks for consistency across international operations;
* Facilitate knowledge sharing and promote BPM best practices globally.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
* Serve as the primary liaison between business and IT, ensuring alignment between processes and corporate goals;
* Conduct cross-functional workshops and training on BPM and ERP optimization;
* Partner with regulatory teams to maintain alignment with FDA, EMA, and GMP requirements.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting:
* Ensure all processes meet regulatory and industry standards;
* Monitor and report on process KPIs using performance dashboards;
* Propose data-driven enhancements for continuous improvement and compliance.
The requested qualifications for this job include:
Education & Experience:
* 5+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, BPM Consultant, or ERP Process Analyst in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry;
* Strong expertise in BPM tools;
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or SAP ERP Cloud;
* Deep understanding of pharma business processes, GxP compliance, and regulated environments;
* Experience in global process standardization and optimization;
* Prior experience in hiring and managing BPM teams globally is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
* Expertise in business process optimization, automation, and governance;
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for process reengineering;
* Strong leadership and communication skills to work with executives, IT, and operations teams globally;
* Experience working in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment with remote/multicultural teams;
* Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
* BPM Certifications;
* Knowledge of Power Automate, RPA, or AI-driven automation;
* Experience with Pharmaceutical ERP modules;
* Understanding of clinical trials, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory documentation workflows;
* Experience in large-scale ERP implementations and GMP-compliant process reengineering projects.
