1. Develop and Maintain Portals, engagement tools: designs, creates visually appealing and user-friendly UX/UI, develops, and maintains customer- and agent-facing portals, including specific engagement tools for customers. Ensures the Portals support new business sales and insurance policy servicing, while engagement tools allow effective customer engagement and warming up leads, following the requirements of the operating companies and are integrated with the necessary back-end systems for a smooth and efficient operation maximizing reusability.
2. Reusability and group assets. Ensures UX/UI designs, the related code, process flow and integrations can be reused across different partnerships, operating companies and countries, to the extent possible.
3. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teams: Works closely with product managers, designers, data scientist, analysts and other back-end engineers or digital marketers and growth hacker to deliver high-quality features and improve software. Participates in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
4. Implement Best Practices: Writes clean, maintainable, and efficient UX/UI assets and related code. Manages the backlog related to the portals. Follows best practices both in UI/UX design and in software development, including responsive design, code management, testing, documentation, security and data protection settings and version control.
5. Troubleshoot and Debug: Identifies and resolves technical issues and bugs. Performs regular maintenance and updates to ensure system stability and security.
6. Stay Updated & innovation. Keeps up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Continuously improves the portals' performance and user experience. Scans for relevant technologies, innovations, start-ups specifically aimed at supporting identified performance improvement projects within operating entities, driving knowledge sharing with a purpose.
7. Reports to the Digital Platforms Technology Director.

9. Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
10. working experience as a UI developer / front-end engineer or similar role
11. Comfortable skills around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. Proficency in UI/UX design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and other relevant frameworks or libraries such as React, Angular, and Vue.js Experience with databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
12. Available and eligible to work in Brussels or Hong Kong, or at least willing to relocate
