We are seeking a highly skilled
Expert Test Engineer
who is proactive, autonomous, and committed to upholding the highest standards of quality in software testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to critical norms, including
ISO 9001
,
ISO 27001/NIS
, and
EN 50.128
.
* You execute manual and automated tests for ETCS-related applications developed in Java.
* You apply testing methodologies aligned with ISTQB principles and Infrabel/ICT standards.
* You ensure compliance with applicable norms: ISO 9001, EN signalling), ISO 27001 – NIS.
* You adopt an innovative and proactive testing approach with strict attention to cybersecurity rules.
* You analyse defects, report findings clearly and collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and project leadership.
* You support business teams during user acceptance tests (UAT).
* You maintain high-quality documentation ensuring full traceability and conformity with standards.
* You work within an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to continuous improvement within the team.
What are we looking for?
* You have over
10 years of experience
as a Test Engineer, including extensive manual and automated testing experience.
* You hold
ISTQB certification
(mandatory).
* You demonstrate strong ability to work autonomously and proactively in a complex, multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
* You possess a user-focused mindset with excellent communication skills (clear, structured, professional).
* You have a demonstrated understanding of Infrabel's mission, IT domain, and functional context.
* You can integrate into Infrabel teams while reflecting values such as kindness, courage, positivity, and reliability.
* You are fluent in
French or Dutch (C1)
and have a good command of
English (B2)
.
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with Ranorex or similar UI automation frameworks
