Cost Estimator
Location: Loncin, Liège region (Onsite)
Type: 6-Month Contract (On going contract)
We are supporting a leading industrial group in their search for a Cost Estimator to strengthen their team. If you enjoy working in a technically advanced environment, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in cross-functional collaboration, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Your Role:
* Analyse project specifications and technical documentation to identify key cost drivers.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (technical and commercial teams) to gather necessary data and insights.
* Prepare accurate cost and price calculations, including margin analysis.
* Propose and implement optimisations to reduce costs without compromising quality.
* Assist in the preparation, validation, and refinement of quotations and bids.
* Build and maintain a reference database for cost standards (materials, equipment, labour, production times, tooling, etc.).
* Draw upon past costings, supplier information, and internal reports to support pricing activities.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor's degree (minimum BAC+3) in a technical or industrial discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial, technical, or cost estimation environment.
* Knowledge or experience in purchasing is a plus.
* Strong command of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
* Organised, analytical, and methodical, with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are a plus.
* Team player with a customer-oriented approach and strong resilience under pressure.
