application specialist Bakery, Confectionery to focus on innovation
and product development within our ingredient business, with an
emphasis on bakery and confectionery. You will support new product
development initiatives within our client’s ingredient portfolio.
You will focus on sensory driven innovation to help move
ingredients from concept to commercialization while collaborating
with other technical teams. As flexibility allows, you will use
other ingredients, contributing to additional applications teams
projects as well as short term projects. - key responsibilities •
Accountable for setting up and conducting application trials to
support projects (bench or pilot) – This include providing accurate
data measured during & after the trials • Maintain equipment’s
and lab infrastructure in optimal working conditions include
compliance with food safety, EHS and maintenance regulations •
Write detailed and well-structured technical/scientific reports on
the outcome of the practical work done. • Aids in preparation of
scientific reports or datasheets detailing the organization’s
products and their applications • Assists with product
demonstrations and serves as the domain expert during meetings with
prospective customers • Support the creation of technical
presentations for customers. • Performs other duties as assigned. -
experience Junior - qualifications - You have a Bachelor’s degree
in a related field or equivalent experience and proven excellent
communication skills. - You demonstrate basic food science
techniques and have experience in application formulation and
product development using novel ingredients. - You have at least
one year of related work experience. - You are accountable, build
partnerships, collaborate, and make timely decisions. - You have
proven value creation and timely project delivery within budget. -
You have experience in application food science formulation and
comprehensive knowledge of ingredient functionality. - You have
knowledge and experience in lab and pilot application processes
(fat, confectionery, bakery) and skill with bigger process
equipment. - You have a hands-on mentality, knowledge and
experience in analytical methods, working with formulations and
recipes, writing reports, and preparing presentations. - You have a
critical mindset, work accurately, respect deadlines, and are
fluent in English. - education - Bachelors or equivalent share this
