The Legal Compliance and Data Protection Administrative Coordinator supports the school#39;s adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices in data protection. /p pstrongReports to: /strongThe HR Director and the Finance Operations Director /pbr /pstrongLegal Compliance /strong /p ul liMonitor and support compliance with Belgian employment and data-related legislation and ensure internal policies and practices remain compliant. /li liAssist with contract reviews, vendor agreements, and due diligence checks. /li liSupport the visa, work permit, residency and expat processes for international staff in collaboration with legal partners. /li liCoordinate preparation of documentation required for audits, inspections, or legal consultations. /li liLiaise with external legal advisors as needed and assist in implementing recommendations. /li /ul pstrongData Protection (GDPR) /strong /p ul liAct as the main point of contact for GDPR compliance. /li liEnsure proper processing, storage, and retention of data in accordance with GDPR and school policies. /li liMaintain and update data registers and data protection impact assessments. /li liPromote awareness and good practices around data protection through training and internal communication. /li /ul pstrongAdministrative Coordination /strong /p ul liMaintain and organise all compliance and data protection documentation. /li liDraft, review, and maintain legally compliant employment contracts, amendments, and related documentation. /li liHelp develop and update school policies, forms, and internal procedures related to compliance. /li liCoordinate compliance training sessions for staff, including scheduling and attendance tracking. /li liSupport internal reporting and risk management documentation under the guidance of HR and Finance. /li liEnsure confidentiality and integrity of all compliance-related records and processes. /li liProvide general administrative support to the HR and Finance department. /li /ulbr /ul liDegree in law (or equivalent legal qualification) with a strong focus on labour law and/or data protection. /li liAt least 3–5 years of experience in compliance, legal administration, or data protection roles. /li liGood understanding of GDPR and Belgian employment law. /li liStrong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. /li liAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion. /li liDutch as a mother tongue is required; fluency in English is also essential.
