ABOUT THE SKATEROOM
At THE SKATEROOM, we create art editions on skateboards in collaboration with the world’s most renowned contemporary artists. We use a portion of every sale to fund social skate projects that empower youth around the world.
Now, as we grow our creative and digital ecosystem, we’re looking for a communications intern to support our presence across influencer partnerships, digital advertising, and emerging platforms like TikTok and Pinterest.
Tasks
THE ROLE
You’ll be working closely with our Head of Communications to bring our stories to life online—whether that’s through a thoughtfully gifted product drop, a scroll-worthy Pinterest post, or a video that breathes life into our TikTok.
You’ll help us shape how THE SKATEROOM continues to impact culture, skate, and social change—one post, partnership, and campaign at a time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Influencer & Creator Relations
* Identify potential creators aligned with our brand and values
* Support product gifting: outreach, seeding, tracking deliveries
* Coordinate content deadlines and follow-ups
* Assist with organizing and curating received UGC (user generated content) for marketing campaigns
Pinterest Management
* Plan and post fresh content regularly
* Source visual references from our archives, drops, and editorial shoots
* Support organization of boards by theme (interiors, artists, inspiration, etc.)
Digital Advertising Support
* Create various formats starting from hero assets for paid campaigns (Meta, Google)
* Create and iterate ad visuals based on performance data and feedback
* Help maintain consistency across ad creatives and brand guidelines
TikTok Activation
* Develop simple, authentic short-form content ideas
* Film, edit, and post weekly videos in line with our brand’s visual tone
* Identify and curate UGC to be posted to our account
* Research trends, sounds, and references to keep our content relevant
Requirements
WHO YOU ARE
* A communications, marketing, or design student or recent graduate
* Curious and plugged into internet culture, skateboarding, contemporary art, fashion, interior design… or everything at once!
* Comfortable with visual tools (Canva, CapCut, Figma, or Adobe Suite)
* Organized, proactive, and fluent in English or French
* A good communicator—both visually and in writing
Bonus if you:
* Have experience managing a social or TikTok account (personal or brand)
* Have a feel for what makes good brand content and know how to brief creators
* Can work independently, but know when to ask for feedback
