**Kitchen Assistant Wanted**
* A dynamic and hardworking individual is required to assist our team of chefs in the kitchen during weekends. As a kitchen assistant, you will be responsible for helping with various tasks such as cleaning salads and vegetables, measuring recipes, portioning food for vacuuming, making moderate recipes, and cleaning the kitchen with the team after service.
We are looking for someone who can commit to 2 days during the week (can be fixed or flexible), 1 shift on Tuesday from 7 till 16h for prepping, and 1 shift on Saturday and/or Sunday in the service doing cold section from 8 till 16h. In total, we need around 17 hours per week.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a professional kitchen and be able to hold a knife. They should also live in Brussels and be willing to work weekends every Saturday and Sunday. It would be an advantage if they speak English fluently and have some knowledge of French and Dutch. Additionally, they should be eager to learn and have a love for organic produce and the story behind our suppliers.
We offer a great working environment with a break that includes great food and coffee. Our team of 24 chefs do a lot of fun team events, and we provide the opportunity to gain some experience between trained chefs. We are looking for a team player who is quick and efficient and has a high level of food waste control.
