Our client, a prestigious German family-owned logistics company with over 170 years of heritage, is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive air and sea freight sales across Belgium and Luxembourg.
This seventh-generation family business has never been acquired and continues to reinvest in growth, targeting to double their volumes by 2030.

* Base salary of €5k - €10k per month depending on what you can bring to the business
* Attractive commission structure: 8% of gross profit for 2 years once threshold achieved, then 4% lifetime commission

The Role: This is a true hunter position focused 75-80% on new business acquisition and bringing in fresh logos to the business. You'll be responsible for developing air, sea, and contract logistics solutions, with a primary focus on seafreight while leveraging their airfreight capabilities in Brussels and Liege. The successful candidate will be closely monitored during their first six months with clear productivity KPIs and pipeline expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business across Belgium and Luxembourg regions
* Target small to medium-sized customers, ideally securing regular weekly or bi-weekly shipments
* Leverage the company's strengths in Far East westbound, USA, and India trade lanes
* Contribute to the ambitious growth target of 6,000 additional TEUs annually for the Belgium operation
* Conduct 8+ quality client visits per week during the initial period
* Focus on all verticals, with opportunities in healthcare and life sciences (GDP certified)
