About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SEO / GEO Digital Copywriter to join a large international digital team within the financial services sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for strengthening organic visibility across traditional search engines as well as AI-powered search platforms.
You will work closely with copywriters, product managers, legal experts, digital analysts, and IT teams to align content, SEO/GEO strategy, and business objectives, while ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
This role is based mainly in Brussels and starts January – February.
What You Will Be Doing
* Develop and implement SEO / GEO best practices, defining a yearly roadmap aligned with business strategy, customer needs, and search opportunities.
* Write high-quality, engaging, and audience-relevant digital content, following SEO / GEO and UX guidelines.
* Collaborate closely with Copywriters, Product Managers, and Legal Experts to align SEO / GEO opportunities with business priorities and legal requirements.
* Optimize content visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search experiences.
* Partner with Digital Analysts to measure performance, impact, and ROI.
* Analyze and report on SEO / GEO KPIs, translating data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
* Work closely with IT teams to implement technical SEO / GEO requirements.
* Share SEO / GEO knowledge, best practices, and guidelines with the Digital Team and other Copywriters.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of content performance and search visibility across digital channels.
What You Bring
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a digital copywriter.
* Native French speaker, fluent in English, with at least a good understanding of Dutch.
* Strong knowledge of local SEO / GEO best practices.
* Hands-on experience with GA4 and keyword research tools.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align multiple stakeholders.
* Proven ability to adapt writing style depending on audience, channel, and objectives.
* Experience in e-commerce or (financial) services is a strong plus.
