An exciting opportunity within a leading European institution based in Kortenberg (Belgium) !
We are seeking an Archivist (M/W) to support a European institution located in Kortenberg (Belgium).
In this role, you will contribute to the collection, organisation, preservation and optimisation of administrative and technical records and archives within a dynamic and multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
* Identify, classify and inventory paper and digital archives.
* Apply conservation and disposal procedures in compliance with European standards.
* Update and structure the classification plan.
* Ensure compliance, security and traceability of documents.
* Assist users in the search and consultation of archives.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement and consistency of archival practices.
* Degree in Archival Science, Documentation or Information Management.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in an archives department or public institution.
* Good knowledge of archival standards (ISO 15489, MoReq, etc.).
* Rigorous, autonomous, service-oriented and a strong team player.
Language Skills
* Proficiency in French and English (minimum B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
Contract Details
* Contract: Permanent (full-time).
* Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.
* Location: Cortenbergh (Belgium).
