VASS BeNeLux is currently seeking an Expert Business Intelligence Specialist to work for the European Commission.
The role:
* Gather and analyze business requirements
* Design and implement ETL processes (e.g., using Data Factory or KNIME)
* Develop and maintain data models
* Design and develop reporting applications using Power BI
* Create and execute test programs
* Write and maintain technical documentation
* Support system deployment and configuration
* Collaborate with other project teams and participate in meetings
Requirements
* Master's degree (or equivalent, EQF Level 7)
* Fluent in English and French
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in an international environment
* Organized, detail-oriented, and methodical
* Able to handle confidential data
Specific Expertise
* 10+ years: data warehousing, SQL, relational databases
* 5+ years: Microsoft Fabric, data lake/lakehouse, Power BI, OLAP, cloud BI
* 2+ years: NoSQL databases, Jira, Confluence
